Transition to Kindergarten Parent/Child Group
Is your child 4 or 5 years old and getting ready for Kindergarten?
This important transition can be both an exciting and scary time in a young child’s life. Helping your children prepare for kindergarten can be a challenge to any parent.
Join Mary Morgan, Wareham’s Early Childhood Coordinator, on Wednesday afternoons at 3:30pm at East Wareham School for a cup of coffee and conversations focusing on getting your child ready for kindergarten. Topics of discussion will include: literacy, social/emotional development, special education and topics of interest determined by the group.
While you meet with the Early Childhood Coordinator your child will participate in a play group that will incorporate many routines found in a typical kindergarten class.
For more information please contact Mary Morgan at 508-291-3586, ext.31
